A nostalgic leap into the analogue past of the 1990s, told from the viewpoint of Livorno’s very own Paolo Ruffini, actor, director and screenwriter.

His latest book, Call when you get there, is a declaration of love to a past long gone following the digitalisation of the 2000s, and explores, with irony and poetry, the developments that have occurred with the advent of technology. With reflections, stories and descriptions, the showman Ruffini asks how much the internet has changed our lives. An interpretation that could certainly be applied to tourism, a parallel that will be the focus of the  “Paolo Ruffini Talk Show”, to be held at the TTG trade fair in Rimini from 12 to 14 October. A tale of how we lived in the 1990s, which, on this occasion will cover the issue of social networks, leading to a discussion on how the world of tourism has changed since the advent of the internet.
